VietValidate

Check the phone number, email and IP address of an order before you ship it. One API call, and every finding comes with a reason in Vietnamese and English.

What it checks

• Phone: a valid Vietnamese number (+84, 84 or 0), the carrier from the prefix in the Ministry of Information and Communications numbering plan, old 11-digit numbers converted to 10 digits, and numbers made of repeated digits or a straight run.
• Email: syntax, disposable domains (a CC0 list), MX records over DNS, and common typos such as gmial.com. It never opens an SMTP connection.
• IP address: the network (ASN), cloud hosting, Tor exit nodes, known botnet control servers, and an IP outside the shipping country. It uses Cloudflare data and public lists only, and every signal names its source.

What it cannot know

• The carrier is the one the prefix was first given to. Since 2018-11-16 a customer can keep a number when changing network, so the number may now be on another one. We do not pay for HLR lookups.
• It does not confirm that a number is active or belongs to the buyer. It cannot tell whether the buyer is real.
• A low risk does not mean the order is real, and a high risk does not mean it is fake. It is a screen to help you decide whether to call the buyer first.
• The prefixes 052, 055 and 087 are named by the operators and the press but are not in the 2018 decision; the answer marks them "reported".

Privacy

The phone number, email and IP you send are handled in memory and dropped when the answer is sent. We do not store or log them, and answers are not cached. Only a daily count of calls is kept.

A buyer's personal data falls under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection. The seller controls that data and is responsible for the legal basis, the notice to the buyer and the data processing terms. This page is not legal advice.

A note on numbers

The 246,344 USD MRR figure for the 1Lookup service comes from TrustMRR and we did not check it. We used it only to choose what to build, not as a promise.
